Our Story
split.deals was born from a real family's need to divide an estate fairly. When our founder's family faced the challenge of splitting decades of accumulated possessions among siblings, they discovered that there was no good tool for the job.
Existing methods relied on spreadsheets, awkward conversations, or expensive legal processes. Small disagreements quickly escalated into lasting family rifts. There had to be a better way.
Drawing on academic research in fair division theory, we built a structured process that gives every participant equal voice, uses sealed-bid auctions to resolve conflicts, and produces results that are mathematically provable as fair.
